Prophetic dreams - when do you see harbingers or how to see the signs of Fate

Prophetic dreams

People have been studying dreams since ancient times. However, sleep still remains a mysterious and incomprehensible area of our modern life. But the most important mystery is the phenomenon of “prophetic dreams.” What do they mean, how to cause them, what impact do they have on a person’s future life and destiny?

Scientists confirm the fact that prophetic dreams really exist, but when a prophetic dream occurs has not yet been established. Based on the results of ongoing research, it has been proven that negative events (accidents, murders, illnesses) are predicted much more often than positive ones (holidays, weddings, birth of a child). Their percentage ratio is approximately eighty to twenty.

According to experts, during the day our subconscious records all the information received and seen when our consciousness is dormant. Dreams “configured” in this way are called prophetic. Quite often they can be confused with those dreams that reflect your real desires.

During scientific experiments, it turned out that only some people can see prophetic dreams. These dreamers are usually very sensitive and have such a fine emotional attunement that they are able to see future events in their dreams.

Dreams about decision

A decision dream is a dream in which you are asked a question or given given options, and then you provide an answer or make a choice of your own. The religious and mystical interpretation of this dream intersects with the ancient teaching about soul, spirit and body as three components of a person. While the dreamer’s mind, corresponding to the soul or psyche, turns off at night along with the body, only the person’s inner will, corresponding to the spirit, can make a decision. Carefully monitor the choices you make in your dreams, because, firstly, they speak about your spiritual (or volitional) qualities, and secondly, they are often prophetic (especially in the week of prophetic dreams).

“In Gibeon, the Lord appeared to Solomon in a dream at night, and said: “Ask what I will give you?” — 1 Samuel 3:5.

What are prophetic dreams?

Prophetic dreams come in several types. Let's look at some of them.

Dreams and visions inevitably come true, so it is important to understand them correctly. In such dreams, a person can see Jesus Christ, the Mother of God, saints, dead or alive, but far away, close, unclean. It happens that the dreamer himself visits the dead.

Dreams and visions are always filled with special meaning. For these dreams, the time and day when they were dreamed are not relevant, they are true. An unpleasant dream can be dismissed or other measures can be taken to prevent it from coming true. Everything is meaningless: the prophecy will be fulfilled. Dreams and visions can be false or true.

Fortune telling dreams occur when you wish for something before going to bed using special magical rituals. Usually, such rituals are prayers and conspiracies for prophetic dreams.

Omens dreams do not literally come true. To understand these dreams, you need to know the dream language, which consists of traditional puns and symbols.

There are also empty dreams or, as they are also called, bodily dreams . They never come true and reflect the daily reality of the dreamer, his memories, experiences, and so on. Nightmares are bodily dreams. Do not expect blows from fate, if you saw a nightmare in a dream, discard disturbing thoughts, drink water and go back to sleep.

There are also artificial prophetic dreams that you can induce yourself at home. To do this, you don’t need to eat a lot at night, you should take a relaxing bath with rosemary and lavender, smoke the room and say the following spell before going to bed:

“Let you dream what should come true. That’s what I want!”

When you have prophetic dreams

The question of when a prophetic dream occurs is quite controversial. Sometimes it is very difficult to distinguish whether it was him or just a double dream imitating our desires and fears.

Prophetic dreams occur rarely and on certain days (except for visions). This fact must be taken into account so as not to rack your brains over solving symbols that are not destined to come true.

Dreams during the holidays

Prophetic dreams are most likely during the Holy Week, starting from January 7 (Christmas) to January 19 (Epiphany): the deceased who come in a dream tell us our future fate.

During Holy Week, people are also lured by evil spirits. At this time she has freedom - Jesus has already been born, but has not yet been baptized. Therefore, evil spirits take the most active part in fortune-telling at Christmas time: they tell the truth, but they will take their payment for it, since they do nothing for free.

We strongly recommend that all those who will conduct fortune-telling on Christmastide be sure to repent.

On any church holiday you can have a prophetic dream, but it must come true before noon (lunch) of that day. In the old days they said this:

"Holiday sleep - until lunch."

On the third day of each month, also expect prophetic dreams, and on the night of the twenty-fifth you will have an empty dream.

Prophetic dreams from Thursday to Friday

Most of the dreams that you have from Thursday to Friday always predict fate.

Friday is considered a special day: Jesus Christ was crucified on Good Friday. It is believed that important things should not be started on Friday, lest they turn into failure.

Dreams that occurred on “temporary Fridays” are filled with special meaning and accuracy of prediction. They are also called Great or nominal.

Good (nominal) Fridays:

  • 1st – first week of Lent.
  • 2nd – 7 April. Before the Annunciation.
  • 3rd - on the eve of Palm Week.
  • 4th – on the eve of the Ascension.
  • 5th - on the eve of Trinity.
  • June 6th – June 7th, on the eve of the Nativity of John the Baptist.
  • 7th - August 2, before Elijah the Prophet.
  • 8th – August 28, on the eve of the Assumption.
  • 9th – on the eve of Archangel Michael’s Day, September 19th.
  • November 10th – November 14th, before the Day of Saints Kuzma and Demyan.
  • 11th – January 7, on the eve of the Nativity of Christ.
  • January 12th – January 19th, before Epiphany.

Personalized Fridays are called because each has a name determined by a specific event described in the Old Testament: Assumption, Annunciation, Epiphany. Every Friday also carries a special blessing:

“Whoever fasts on the first Friday will be saved from unexpected death!”

Dreams by day of the week

On the night from Sunday to Monday you can make a wish for sleep. Expect both prophetic and empty dreams.

  • From Monday to Tuesday - empty dreams (bodily dreams).
  • From Tuesday to Wednesday - dreams can come true.
  • From Wednesday to Thursday - empty (bodily) dreams occur.
  • From Thursday to Friday - dreams come true (up to three years).
  • Dreams from Friday to Saturday are bodily dreams.
  • From Saturday to Sunday - the dream can come true before lunch.
  • From Sunday to Monday - warning dreams

Dreams and visions do not depend on the day of the week, they are always true. If symbols are repeated in a dream, then these dreams are prophetic.

Dreams by time of day

Another important point is the time of day when the dream occurred.

Morning dreams are the most faithful. The soul has sufficiently moved away from the body, having forgotten the worries of the day, and can see the phenomena of the other world.

Daytime dreams are usually empty (except for dreams) if they reflect a person's past.

Evening or night dreams can most often be empty.
At this time of day, the soul barely begins to move away from the body, and bodily images are replaced by prophetic ones. Such dreams can be especially difficult to understand.

Why do I have nightmares?

  • Sometimes you may notice that every night you are haunted by constantly recurring obsessive visions.
  • Some attribute them to prophetic dreams, and pay special attention to nightmares. And this is understandable.
  • Being in the power of Morpheus, looking through episodic passages that mean nothing to us, we most likely wake up without even remembering them the next morning.
  • Please note that the state of fear in a dream does not appear out of nowhere.
  • Try to understand and evaluate your psychological state during a nightmare.
  • If you are expecting negative changes in your life, which you are waiting for with caution and nervous tension, then the same impulses arrive in the brain during the period of night rest.

What do inexplicable dreams mean?

When every night you see the same dream with an unclear chain of events, this speaks exclusively of your dreams for a better life. Psychologists provide this explanation. They claim that people whose desires do not want to coincide with reality always see repeating night visions in which no logical meaning can be traced. To identify what our subconscious tells us at such moments, pay attention to your feelings.

A calm state, not accompanied by any unpleasant symbols, means that you should not worry about this.

How to determine if a dream is prophetic

Usually, in order to understand whether the dream was prophetic or empty, some time must pass. If people could immediately after sleep determine that the dream was prophetic, many events in life could be prevented or somehow influenced.

But symbolic prophetic dreams, if desired, can be interpreted. Dream books and interpretation systems have been created for this purpose.

If, say, you dreamed that you broke a plate, and you broke it in reality, this does not mean at all that the dream was prophetic. Perhaps this is a coincidence or you were too focused on the events of the dream and literally brought them to life.

But if you dream about the future, and it involves our friends, loved ones, many symbols and dubious things that we do not understand, then it is better to check such a dream. It may turn out to be prophetic.

Classification by Laura Harris Smith

Millions study and seek to hear the voice of God during the day, but do not realize that at night they can hear it through dreams. American psychologist and theologian Laura Harris Smith's book, Seeing the Voice of God, describes 10 basic types of dreams (featuring the five most common types of dreams). The book also includes a dream dictionary with over 1000 symbols and their biblical relevance. It is useful for psychotherapists who study the sleep process and helps anxious clients suffering from insomnia. The five subsequent titles will be devoted to a more detailed description of the types of dreams described in Smith's book.

How to remember a prophetic dream

Remember all the details when you have a prophetic dream. After waking up, write down everything you saw for correct interpretation according to the dream book.

Only those dreams that you remember are destined to come true. There are ancient ways to make this difficult task easier:

  • put a stone under your head,
  • In the morning, when you wake up, bite the corner of your pillow,
  • When you wake up, don’t look at the fire or out the window,
  • sleep on your right side, but not prone (on your stomach).

For a prophetic dream to come true, try not to tell anyone about it for three days, or better yet, hide it altogether.

Plausible dream

The awareness of a dream occurs only when you awaken, and your first impression of it, as a rule, leaves much to be desired. From a Christian point of view, God's purpose in such a dream is to show you that some things remain with you even after waking up. We all know that you can dream at night and not remember, but it is almost impossible to forget about a realistic dream in which you seem to be living real life. Most prophetic dreams belong to this type, and in them you can find the answer to the question why prophetic dreams often occur and come true.

“Then Pharaoh woke up, it was a dream. In the morning his mind was troubled..." - Genesis 41:7-8.

If you had a bad or scary dream

Unfortunately, prophetic dreams are not only good and positive.

If you had a bad or scary dream, don’t be upset.

When a dream carries bad news or some kind of negativity, it is possible to block this negative information.

To prevent a bad dream from coming true, try to forget about it as quickly as possible. To do this you need to do the following:

  • hold yourself by the crown,
  • look at the living flame of a candle, match, lighter or out the window,
  • knock on the window three times,
  • Turn the pillow over and turn the pillowcase inside out.

When you get up early in the morning, try to tell as many people as possible about your bad dream. It is advisable to do this before noon. You can also tell about your bad dream to a stone taken near the intersection of two roads. Also, special conspiracies work well against bad dreams.

Hex on iron or wood

Pick up any iron or wooden object. You can hold onto iron or wood with your hands. After this, say these words:

“Where there is night, there is sleep. Just as a felled tree does not end up on a stump, so that a dream in truth does not end up like that.”

Water spell

To prevent a bad dream from coming true, open a cold water tap and say the following:

“Water, take away all my troubles, all my sorrows,”

Smoke plot

To prevent a bad dream from coming true, you need to say to the smoke of a cigarette, candle or fire:

“Where there is smoke, there comes sleep”

You can also open the front door of your house or apartment, stick your left leg over the threshold and order the bad dream to go away.

Interpretation of prophetic dreams

Dreams provide an opportunity to look into the future: to see events close (tomorrow, in a week) and distant (in a year, ten years).

These events may concern the dreamer personally or people close to him.

Trying to interpret his dreams, a person enters into a dialogue with higher powers. He increasingly sees prophetic dreams, which provoke corresponding actions and emotions. If dreams are interpreted incorrectly, then fate may not go according to the “scenario”.

Therefore, from time immemorial, the interpretation of dreams has been compared to great art and science, and has been classified as secret knowledge.

Dream Interpretation

In the old days, dream books were compiled with understanding and only dedicated people used them. Nowadays, book shelves are littered with dream books, and the Internet will helpfully “interpret” any dream. As a result, dreams are interpreted illiterately, and a person walks around confused, not suspecting that the interpretation of dreams is taken mostly out of thin air.

By taking on faith the wrong interpretations of dreams and tuning into an alarming wave, a person thereby creates and attracts troubles to himself and programs his destiny.

To believe or not prophetic dreams

Dreams can promise favorable events (luck, an influx of money, marriage and the birth of a child) or troubles, illness and death.

You cannot unconditionally take on faith the interpretation of a dream proposed in dream books. When trying to unravel a dream, keep in mind that its meaning depends both on the signs deciphered by dream books and on the personality of the dreamer, his life experience, and state of mind.

Compare the plots of your dreams with real events that are taking place in your life or are planned. The same symbol portends different events for a married woman and a girl, a man and a woman, an adult and a child.

Knowledgeable people say: if you apply the appropriate rituals, spells and rules of fortune-telling, you can look into the future, see a dream that will definitely come true.

Whatever the prophetic dream, it is just a prediction or a warning. This is one of the options for your destiny, which you have the right to create yourself. A good dream can be realized in reality, and a bad dream can be erased from your consciousness.
