Why do you dream of white worms: deciphering the dream according to the dream books of Meneghetti, Freud, Nostradamus

The interpretation of dreams according to Meneghetti is the main tool of ontopsychological psychotherapy and psychological counseling. Our online dream book is based on the scientific views of Carl Jung, Sigmund Freud and discoveries in the field of the human psyche made by Antonio Meneghetti.

Antonio Meneghetti is a philosopher, psychologist, psychotherapist, musician and entrepreneur. Meneghetti became a priest, but then abandoned the priesthood and decided to devote himself entirely to psychotherapy. The main merit of Antonio Meneghetti is the founding of ontopsychology. It should be noted that the attitude towards this science in different countries is ambiguous. Thus, in some countries ontopsychology is taught at universities, while in others it is banned as the basis for the activities of sects.

Over many years of practical activity, Meneghetti has accumulated a wealth of invaluable experience in the field of clinical psychotherapy.

Every day he received 10-12 people, relieving his patients of common psychosomatic diseases. Gradually, the psychotherapist formed such concepts as onto-in-se, semantic field, and deviation monitor. It was these three terms that became the foundation of a new science, ontopsychology.

Meneghetti believed that the human consciousness does not fully perceive objective reality; some of the information ends up in the subconscious.

The meaning of dreams according to the Italian dream book

It is the subconscious that is responsible for the formation of dreams - good, positive dreams and frightening nightmares. A dream always reflects the real problem of a particular person. At the same time, religion, politics, culture and other social concepts do not affect the dream.

The interpretation of dreams according to Antonio Meneghetti includes three components: the situation or problem itself, the reason for its occurrence, and the method of solution. The “highlight” of Meneghetti’s dream book is that it tries to a greater extent to reveal the details of the inner world of the person himself, and is less focused on predicting the future than, say, the dream books of Longo, Vanga or Nostradamus.

Good night. Sleep well. Let the sky drop the stars down. Let the lanterns shine peacefully and protect your sensitive sleep.

And I keep you in my dreams. I'll be there like an angel, do you want it? After all, I am with you, because I love. Sleep well. Good night.

Let your bed be warm, soft and cozy, nothing wakes you up until the morning, let your sensitive sleep not be disturbed.

Sleep well and get enough sleep, I hug you very tenderly. And in my dreams, smile at me. Rest. Good night.

So that on this moonlit night a charming dream may come, a kind, snow-white angel will guard your sweet dream.

May you dream of countries where you dream of visiting. I hug you tightly, I’m starting to miss you!

Let your sleep be peaceful, and let nothing disturb you. Like a river, let it flow. Let him give you as much strength as he can.

About Meneghetti's dream book

Meneghetti's dream book is noticeably different from other dream books familiar to everyone. The author uses very specific terminology and the interpretation of dreams can often seem mysterious and incomprehensible.

First, a little about the author of the dream book. Antonio Meneghetti is a professional psychologist, the creator of a new direction in psychological science, ontopsychology. Despite the youth of this theory, it has found recognition in scientific circles, for example, the Department of Ontopsychology was opened at the Faculty of Psychology at St. Petersburg State University.

Antonio Meneghetti was born in 1936 in Italy, which, in fact, is easy to guess from his name. After graduating from the University of the Vatican Apostolic Library, he worked at the Pontifical University of Thomas Aquinas in Rome and the Pontifical Lutheran University of Rome, receiving three doctorates (social sciences, philosophy and theology) from these two universities. Since the late 60s, he began research in the field of psychology, as a result of which in 1970 the theory of psychology appeared.

Meneghetti practiced clinical psychotherapy for about ten years, specializing in the treatment of neuroses, schizophrenia and psychosomatic diseases. The theory of ontopsychology was based on his experience in clinical practice.

The main conceptual provisions formulated by Meneghetti include:

  • semantic field, or the basic unconscious form of communication between people;
  • a deviation monitor, or an element of the structure of the human psyche that distorts the process of perceiving reality;
  • onto In-se, or the formal rational principle underlying historical self-creation.

According to Meneghetti, there are three universal criteria for dream interpretation:

  • the human functionality of the nature of the object or context to which the symbol refers;
  • the causal effectiveness of the symbol (what consequence it leads to);
  • semantic criterion (what sensations this image evokes).

The image is considered as an indicator of the direction of movement of the energy of the unconscious. The direction can be positive, or negative or defensive. In the second case, the image shows that “I” is afraid of this or that event or phenomenon.

Determining the positivity or negativity of an image is key in the psychological theory of dream interpretation. To obtain the correct conclusion, according to Meneghetti, one must resolve the question: what real benefit (or real harm) does the image bring from a psychological and biological point of view? Anything that works for the benefit of the dreamer’s health and ability to take a dominant position in a particular situation is good; everything that is detrimental to his well-being is bad. And based on this criterion, Meneghetti created a coherent and internally logical theory of dream interpretation.

And other notes.

Dreams are the most unknown thing that exists in the whole world, because they cannot be known by conventional scientific means. The only source in everyday human life for the knowledge of dreams are dream books - collections of dream interpretations. But despite all the variety of collections, most authors interpret the same dream objects in completely opposite ways.

Path to Enlightenment

Antonio Meneghetti was the eldest of nine children in an ordinary Italian family. At 11, he was brought up in the Roman Catholic Church, where he studied until entering the seminary. At the seminary, Meneghetti studies art and even takes part in the restoration of frescoes by such Italian masters as Titian, Michelangelo, and Raphael. At the same time, young Antonio learns to play music on the organ and piano, and also studies ancient languages. It would seem that as a result the world should have received an excellent researcher or healer of human souls. However, excellent education and experience communicating with people in need of help, primarily psychological, became the catalyst for the journalist Lugli Massimo [6] to accuse Meneghetti of being the founder of a sect in his article in the magazine Republic in 1991. Meneghetti tried to sue Lugli Massimo, but was defeated in 1993 [7], in particular due to the numerous materials that Lugli Massimo was able to provide to the court [8].

The self-proclaimed guru of psychology in fact had neither a diploma nor a corresponding academic title. At one time, he studied to become a librarian, learned philosophy and theology within the walls of religious educational institutions. As a result, in the early 90s, Meneghetti founded a new direction - ontopsychology.

The term “ontopsychology” belongs to the American Anthony Sutich. It was he who, back in the 50s, proposed this name for the field of knowledge that combines humanistic psychology and existentialism.

Perhaps Meneggeti borrowed someone else's idea and reinterpreted it in his own way, cleverly combining classical psychological concepts with conclusions that were absurd in their logic.

Eight years after the launch of the “new” teaching, Meneghetti founded the corresponding international association. The teacher himself positions himself as a practitioner who has cured many human ailments. In fact, his activities were very indirectly related to clinical psychiatry.

The new ideology required new adherents, so Meneghetti decided not to limit himself to Italy, but to spread his teaching throughout the world. He soon reached Russia, as well as the former Soviet republics. Making money from trainings and seminars , Meneghetti systematically and carefully created his own empire already on the territory of Russia. In their book “Occult Italy” Gianni Del Vecchio, Stefano Pitrelli cite the words of Meneghetti himself from an interview with a journalist from “Repubblica” at a villa in Pissignano.

“After leaving psychotherapy and training, following a forensic investigation, Meneghetti realizes that the real potential of his ontopsychology lies in its application to the business world. After all, the money he is running is real. Meneghetti indirectly admits this to a Repubblica journalist who interviews him at his home in Pissignano: “Treat the sick? I haven't done this for years. Sick people only bring trouble. Now I work only for political and business elites, teaching them the psychology of leadership . The minimum cost of each conference is ten thousand dollars. Constant requests come mainly from Brazil, China and Russia.” The answer astounds the reporter, who had instead expected “an encounter like entering Colonel Kurtz's hut. The journalist describes Meneghetti as "looking like a Texan billionaire, jacket generously unbuttoned on his hairy chest, a ring on his left little finger, vodka and a giant cigar." [9]

His business grew and expanded so successfully that in the mid-2000s, the Department of Ontopsychology was opened at St. Petersburg State University. The fact that in October 1981 the prosecutor of Rome opened a criminal case, which soon turned into six arrest warrants for Manegeti and five of his employees (a month later all were free and a few years later they were all completely acquitted) [10], apparently did not bother him very much scientific community of the oldest educational institution in St. Petersburg.

Antonio Meneghetti died in 2013, leaving more than 50 books and monographs to grateful adherents.

Biography of Antonio Meneghetti

World of images (dream book) Meneghetti: interpretation of dreams

One of the main tools in ontopsychological psychotherapy and counseling is dream interpretation.
The ontopsychological approach to interpretation is based on the already known concepts of Freud and Jung, but is unique due to the use of discoveries made by Antonio Meneghetti in the field of the human psyche based on clinical practice, and criteria for the interpretation of images. A dream reveals the real state of affairs for a person. Everything that happens to him during the day is woven into the dream scenario and is either devalued or assessed positively. A dream always indicates the current situation or problem, the reason for its occurrence and a method of solution. Dreams with different contents within the same night in different ways always point to these three key aspects. It is important that everything shown in a dream relates exclusively to the reality of the person who sees it. The dream is not interested in politics, culture, or religion, but only in the life situation of the person himself.

A person can decipher, read and understand a dream, which always indicates the truth of the moment in accordance with nature's design.

In any case, a dream is an unmistakable indication and source of information about the subject and his method of self-government. Dream information becomes an additional parameter in counseling on issues of existence, economics and interpersonal relationships.

Dream Interpretation Meneghetti

Meneghetti wrote many books published in different languages of the world, such as Russian, Italian, French and many others. Antonio was the author of one of the most popular books about dreams in the modern world.

. The dream book not only explains the meaning of dreams, but also interprets the very state of a person’s psyche. For the author of the book, what is important is not the dream symbols themselves, which most psychologists pay attention to, but rather what they produce.

When turning to the book for the first time, some confusion may arise, since the structure and presentation of Meneghetti’s dream book is not similar to other dream books. Most modern dream interpretation books use simple words, while Antonio uses complex terminology. Meneghetti's dream book is a world of images that will fascinate everyone who turns to it.

The dream book stands out from the variety of existing ones, since Antonio Meneghetti used his knowledge gained from working with the human psyche, based on the concepts of such famous philosophers as Freud and Jung.

Antonio divided his book into chapters alphabetically, which makes it easier for the reader to find the information he needs. The author believes that it is necessary to help the dreamer understand his feelings and future. The Italian psychologist emphasizes that a person’s consciousness cannot fully appreciate the reality of what is happening, and dreams are a reflection of the unconscious and create a holistic representation of reality.

A dream, according to the author, arises due to a certain problem that requires a solution and worries the dreamer himself. He also came to the conclusion that dreams reflect the state of internal organs or hidden pathological processes in the human body. The dream itself can only be interpreted in relation to the life of each person individually, depending on situations in real life.

The world of Meneghetti's images can be analyzed by the presence of universal symbols that can mean various deviations and defects. So, if the dreamer sees disasters, a hospital, pregnancy, or various predatory animals in a dream, it means that a disease has begun, the main cause of which is an internal psychological conflict. The author believes that in most cases the disease occurs due to emotional traumas that a person specifically tries to forget. In such cases, the famous philosopher strongly recommends consulting a psychotherapist or undergoing a medical examination.

Dream Interpretation of Numbers This is the number of determination and strength aimed at realizing ideas and fantasies. The unit carries ambition and ambition, aggression and the desire for unknown distances. One is the number of the leader and the egoist. This number encourages a person to pay increased attention to his life path, reconsider the goals that stand before him, perhaps radically change his attitudes and abandon outdated plans. The number “1” is a symbol of the future, the embryo of which can and should be seen in today’s day, a new idea that can fill a person’s life with meaning and the desire to move forward. Persistence, inflexibility, strength of will and faith in the best - this is what is inherent in this number. Dream Interpretation of Numbers The number “2” contains two opposites, which attract and repel at the same time, these are two halves of one whole, the eternal and continuous struggle of black and white. Without the opposition and interaction of two principles, internal harmony is impossible; there is no day without night and no good without evil. This number does not allow a person to calm down, filling him with unconscious desires and doubts, forcing him to look for new paths, ideas and answers to eternal questions, not allowing him to ossify in his beliefs. Self-improvement, depth, contrast and the desire for balance are what is hidden in this number. Dream Interpretation of Numbers This number brings love and suffering into a person’s life; it is extremely unstable, just like human emotions. The number “3” is filled with feeling, but devoid of rationality: it forces a person to pay attention to the heart’s desires and forget about logic, stop controlling himself in everything and surrender to the will of the emotional wave. There is a hidden contradiction in this number, because it is both joy and sorrow; both love and hate; both pleasure and pain. Only after experiencing the whole gamut of feelings can a person appreciate the richness of life. The number “3” is a person’s desire to understand the world inside and around him and to understand with his heart what the mind cannot explain. Dream Interpretation of Numbers The number “4” is a symbol of stability and strength, material wealth and satisfied pride; these are four vectors directed in different directions and four points of support. There are four natural elements: water and fire, air and earth, four cardinal directions and four seasons. This number brings confidence to a person’s life, allows him to soberly assess today and not be afraid of tomorrow, gives him peace and strength, makes him work hard and achieve financial well-being, not give up in the face of failures and not be afraid of mistakes. Any mistake is a small step towards the goal. Balance, perseverance, hard work, the desire for wealth and the ability to achieve it - all this is contained in the number “4”. Dream Interpretation of Numbers This number carries a lot of surprises, surprises and pitfalls; it knocks a person out of his usual rut and forces him to look at what is happening around him in a new way, from a different point of view. The number “5” is a whim of Fortune, this number is the enemy of habits and dogmas, it is capable of turning everything upside down in one moment and freeing a person from routine, allowing him to step on a new unknown path, abandoning the usual style of existence. It doesn’t matter whether a pleasant or unpleasant event serves as an impetus, the main thing is that a person discards everything that prevents him from breathing and thinking freely. A happy occasion and bright sunshine are all about the number “5”. Dream Interpretation of Numbers The number “6” gives a person a chance to lift the veil of secrecy and find out what is hidden from his eyes; it carries within it the magical power of fantasy and metaphorical thought. This number reveals a person’s secret capabilities, teaches him to be himself and not be afraid to go beyond generally accepted rules and guidelines. A person receives a powerful charge of optimism from this number, his mind becomes more flexible and impetuous, his eyes become more alert and his gaze becomes attentive and thoughtful. A person develops intuition, and everything that his mind cannot understand is comprehended by his subconscious. The sixth sense, which allows you to avoid danger and choose the right path, is what the number “6” gives a person. Dream Interpretation of Numbers This number carries a powerful spiritual principle, it awakens the creator in a person, gives him the right and opportunity to create his own world, to do what his soul strives for. The number “7” reveals the talents and abilities inherent in a person, gives him the joys and pains of creativity, and fills his life with new meaning. This number is a synthesis of all that is most beautiful and most terrible; both Galatea and Frankenstein can emerge from the hands of the creator; a person can be both the creator of an idea and its captive. Contemplation, a gift from God, a powerful intellect and subtle emotional experiences - all this contains the number “7”; it gives a person the right to live in creativity. Dream Interpretation of Numbers This number contains the world mind, the ability of humanity to generate ideas and create brilliant things, the talent of invention and the willingness to bring ideas to life. The number “8” allows a person to feel part of a single whole, work harmoniously in a team and put the common good above the personal. This number is a symbol of stability and reliability, systematic work and brilliant results, hopes and achievements. Research work, synthesis of intelligence, hard work and perseverance, small and large conquests, pioneering and conquering peaks, loyalty to the chosen course - this is the number “8”. Dream Interpretation of Numbers This number is filled with mystical meaning; it symbolizes success and fullness of being, but it does not give peace and does not allow a person to rest on his laurels. The number “9” reveals transcendental distances to a person, sharpens his mind and rewards him with a magical gift. A person ceases to be a slave to circumstances and takes power into his own hands, becoming the master of his destiny. The number “9” gives a person an independent mind and an unbending will, an iron character and artistic talent, the ability to transform into people and objects, to feel their inner essence. Mystical insight, magic, gloom and inability to relax, power and once again power - all this is contained in the number “9”. Freud's Dream Book Catching a taxi in a dream means you attach too much importance to money. Of course, their presence determines a lot, but still they are not the most important thing in life. In the very near future, something will happen that will make you convinced of this, and the event that occurred will be directly related to your sex life. Riding in a taxi in a dream - you love sex, and you like everything connected with it. But don't overdo it in your love, as you risk becoming too focused on sex and not paying attention to something equally important. Being a taxi driver yourself in a dream means you don’t believe that the key to successful sex is the matching of partners by temperament type. You are sure that success in relationships with the opposite sex can only be achieved with the help of experience: You lack ease in relationships. A standard dream in which you enjoy the comfort of your home, sitting under a lampshade, means that changes await you in your personal life. An early marriage cannot be ruled out. For a young woman, a dream in which she makes a lampshade herself means that she will be a good housewife, capable of creating comfort in the house. If in a dream you were given a lampshade, then in reality a person of the opposite sex will show you signs of close attention attention. Freud's Dream Interpretation If you dreamed about putting a lampshade on a light bulb, this indicates that in your intimate life you are stiff, tight, and therefore often suffer from false shame. For some reason, you are embarrassed to show your sensuality, sexual fervor towards your partner, and he, in turn, regards this as a manifestation of coldness on your part. It is for this reason that disagreements will be possible due to the unsatisfied desires of your partner. If in a dream you wiped a lampshade, it means that in your intimate life you strive for a clear distribution of responsibilities. In your opinion, you are not at all obligated to just give without receiving anything in return. Have you ever thought that your partner may simply not know how to please you, and it is for this reason that all the problems arise in your intimate life? Sometimes a person is embarrassed to actively stimulate another because he is afraid that he will be accused of promiscuity or incontinence. Therefore, in your case, you cannot do without a frank conversation. A broken lampshade signals that in your intimate life not everything is as good as it seems at first glance. And perhaps the reason for this is that you have lost sexual interest in each other, you have entered a period of satiety when you cannot give each other pleasure, as in the old days. You may be advised to try new positions, new methods of stimulation. A dusty lampshade indicates that a temporary discord has occurred in your relationship, caused by a cooling of sex by one of the partners. This means that something needs to be done to restore the lost harmony. Old Russian dream book: trouble, despondency. Esoteric dream book Loneliness, sad mood. Small dream book A dream in which you enjoy the comfort of your home, sitting under a lampshade, means that changes await you in your personal life. An early marriage cannot be ruled out. For a young woman, a dream in which she makes a lampshade herself means that she will be a good housewife, capable of creating comfort in the house. If in a dream you were given a lampshade, then in reality a person of the opposite sex will show you signs of close attention. Family Dream Book The purpose of a lampshade is to protect you from too bright light. If in a dream you adjust or install a lampshade on a lamp, then in real life you will have to take steps to protect yourself. If the lampshade is beautiful and pleasing to the eye, then pleasant news awaits you, a meeting with a friend or a pleasant conversation. If the lampshade is made of paper or fragile glass, then your position is fragile, and fortune may turn away from you. A cracked lampshade in a dream foreshadows and indicates that your relationship with a person dear to you will deteriorate or stop completely. Such a dream speaks of a change in fortune. See interpretation: glass, light, lamp. Intimate dream book Seeing a lampshade in a dream means that soon a person will appear in your life, a relationship with whom will bring you many happy moments and fill your life with new meaning. If the lampshade is not turned on in a dream, it means that you are disappointed with your intimate life. A dream about a new lampshade promises you a new lover. Children's dream book Lampshade - you will soon have to hide your joy from others. Slavic dream book Dejection. Sonic Kananita Lampshade - expect mercy - (paper) - unpleasant despondency Ukrainian dream book Dream about a lampshade, make you sad; above your head (above you) - you will have something pleasant; peace; sometimes for young people - for a love date. We have to be careful. Standard Dejection Generally lampshaded - expect mercy. Dream Interpretation Hasse despondency; generally lampshaded - expect mercy. Family dream book (See interpretation: priest) Slavic dream book For a Catholic - success; talking to him is a joy.

The main task of the dream dictionary “World of Images” is the interpretation of images from dreams and fantasies.

The author of the book “The World of Images” - Antonio Meneghetti, originally from Italy, is an authoritative scientist, as well as a philosopher and artist. Meneghetti is a man driven by his own ideas, on the basis of which he founded his own school of ontopsychology. For about 10 years in a row, he practiced as a psychologist, as a result of which he formed his own theory, which he adheres to in everyday life. He was interested in the humanistic branch of psychology and devoted a lot of time to studying and various experiments on consciousness.

The subject of his main research, of course, was a topic that is designated by the word “imagogy” - this is a voluntary and conscious experience of seeing an active image, showing all the strength and steadfastness of personal life on a conscious and unconscious level. From the experiments carried out and many detailed observations, a dictionary of images by Antonio Meneghetti, well-known in the world of psychology, was also formed, and in addition to this, Meneghetti’s dream book allows us to more extensively study the fact that a dream in its essence is an absolutely unconscious experience, the basis is taken from the so-called reserve, which in turn the scientist described quite thoroughly.

Very often the “I” of our consciousness has such an attitude towards us, the current location, the time of stay, which can be called quite frivolous. Our only good helper in many situations is our self-regulation - a system of innate origin, given to us by nature as a most useful gift. The roles of our “I” are realistically and also interestingly described in Meneghetti’s dictionary of images. And, in fact, with all our essence, resembling a continuous movement, unique and changing almost every second, we, at the same time, undergoing development, follow stagnation, namely such factors as: conscious and logical social attitudes, ingrained habits, immovable beliefs , with all hope for good health, which will never let you down, self-development and happiness. We can read about all this and more in “The World of Images” by Antonio Meneghetti. The book explains the meaning and essence of the images of art that we unconsciously create, guided primarily by what our inner “I” dictates to us.

Explanations of the images are taken from the scientist’s own discoveries, which contributed to existing dream books, and also, through a fresh look, were able to correct much information about various misunderstood images. The book will tell us whether there really is a connection between reality and images and whether we have the opportunity to determine what reality actually is. What is its primary source: the psychological or, perhaps, biological nature of personal consciousness, and what actually motivates us, standing behind this or that image.

Dream Interpretation - Huge raven in the house

The dream speaks of the dominant conscious foundations and views of the Dreamer over the emotions of the soul - a huge Raven lands on the window of the parental House, flies confidently inside and remains between the Wall and the Closet, where the wall is the internal foundations, security, and the closet is emotions.
The Raven looks at the Dreamer with the intention of kissing, not knowing How, even if he has a beak (mate/needs) - symbolizes the lack of emotional experience and emotions/relationships in the Dreamer’s life against the backdrop of social advancement. The dreamer is powerless to do anything - the prevailing conscious attitudes of the Dreamer, dictating their own conditions, contributing to the stability of the social position. Such a dream suggests hidden and unexpressed true emotions of the Soul, conscious control of one’s emotions. Interpretation of dreams from the Dream Interpretation of the House of the Sun
